The Visitors Center is open 363 days a year (closed Thanksgiving and Christmas). April - October the Visitors Center hours are 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.; November - March, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
To make the most of your visit to beautiful Chester County, be sure to make your first stop the Chester County Visitors Center, conveniently located along Route One in Kennett Square. Information about historic and cultural sights throughout the Brandywine Valley and personal assistance is available to help with attractions, accommodations, restaurants, shopping, entertainment and events occurring during your stay.

History
The Chester County Visitors Center was built in 1865 as the Longwood Progressive Meeting House, and was known as an important stop on the "Underground Railroad". For many years, the building served as a local house of worship for Quakers.
